Hope: Desire Accompanied by Expectation
Summer has gone and fall has arrived, although sometimes
that is hard to believe when you have temperatures in the
high 80's here by the beach.
Last month I felt so blessed to have had the opportunity to
meet several fantastic women at my Angel Workshop
celebrating International Angel Day. We had a fantastic time
learning how to listen to our own Angelic guidance and give
readings to one another.
Personally, I have been trying to stay off my broken foot as
much as possible. It has been 4 1/2 months now. At times I
still have pity parties for myself but for the most part I
tend to stay pretty positive. When I listen to my Angels,
they tell me that "I am healed". I have also been working
with some wonderful healers who truly brighten my life. Each
morning, new thoughts and ideas come my way to contemplate
and review.
For the past several days I have been spending time watching
a large spider weaving its web. The silk of a spider is
quite strong, unbelievably strong as a matter of fact.
Sometimes I check to see if it had caught anything in its
web... sometimes yes, other times no, but it remained
constant in its task If the web would become dislodged in
some manner, the spider would reinforce it once again. Then
yesterday I was meditating by our stream asking for Angelic
guidance and inspiration for this month's newsletter and my
thoughts turned to that spider once again for some reason.
With all that is going on in the world and in our individual
lives right now, I received the word HOPE from the Angels.
They suggested that I look up the word HOPE in the
dictionary and this is what I discovered: HOPE... a feeling
that what is wanted will happen; desire accompanied by
expectation.
Once again that spider came to mind, each moment of the day
it is hopeful and constant. For us individually, we too can
remain hopeful and constant as we turn a new page in our
lives every day knowing that yesterday is just that, today
is what we make it, and tomorrow is a feeling that what is
wanted will happen...
